Basic CPR/AED 

 

Certification: Health & Safety Institute (HSI) Description: Our CPR AED course offers a flexible and convenient option for individuals seeking CPR and AED certification. 

 

Course Details: This class is designed for individuals who want to learn the basic skills of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) usage, but do not require certification for healthcare providers. In this class, participants will gain the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations, such as cardiac arrest or choking. The curriculum covers essential topics including recognizing cardiac arrest, performing chest compressions and rescue breaths, and using an AED to deliver life-saving shocks. Through hands-on practice and interactive demonstrations, participants will develop the skills necessary to potentially save a life. This class is ideal for parents, teachers, coaches, lifeguards, daycare workers, construction workers and anyone interested in being prepared to respond to emergencies in their personal or professional lives.

 

Classroom Learning: The in-person portion covers essential CPR and AED concepts, techniques, and procedures, hands-on practice, and assessment of CPR and AED skills. Course is in English Only

 

Length of Course (varies based on selection)

  • CPR/AED Adult Only 1.5 Hours
  • CPR/AED Adult + Child + Infant + First Aid 2.5-3 Hours

 

How to Register:

1. Select the date on the scheduler you would like to take your classroom session. Our experienced instructors will guide you through video based/hands-on practice and assessment of CPR and AED skills. 

2. Receive Certification: Upon successful completion of the classroom session, you will receive your CPR AED certification card via email the same business day that is valid for 2 years thru HSI (Health & Safety Institute)

Basic CPR/AED (Adult): Focuses on CPR and AED techniques for adults. Basic CPR/AED (Adult + Child + Infant): Includes CPR and AED training for adults, children, and infants and basic first aid skills.
