How to Register:

2. Receive Certification: Upon successful completion of the classroom session, you will receive your CPR AED certification card via email the same business day that is valid for 2 years thru HSI (Health & Safety Institute)

Requirements prior to class

Take note that AHA requires students to have the most current BLS Provider Manual prior, during and post class. You will be able to refer to it during the exam. To order your manual, visit https://shopcpr.heart.org/.

What to expect for the class

We anticipate the course to take 2-2.5 hours depending on class size
Please wear comfortable clothing
You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting. If you have physical conditions that might prevent you from participating in the course, please tell one of the instructors when you arrive for the course
There will be a portion of the course that will be led by an instructor playing videos, the students will practice on equipment (mannikins, AED, bag-mask device)
There will be a written examination consisting of 25 questions will require an 84% to pass and skills test that is pass/fail to obtain an AHA certification card
All cards will be issued by email the same day as your course
